We celebrated my grandmother's birthday today. And that part of our day was very pleasant. Every family has it's own dysfunction, but we are very blessed. To be able to attend our family gatherings without the dread of drama, judgement, boredom, or walking on eggshells, is a luxury that few people get to experience.

yeah, but keeping her out in the garage is a little mean. Sure, you've given her a broom to 'sweep away the minutes', but still.. let her get out more! :)
